A true beginner’s class covering the everyday tech skills that everyone is expected to know but nobody ever actually teaches. We’ll cover email, internet, passwords, files, printing, scams, and how to use your phone without being afraid of it.

About This Class

This class starts at the real beginning. No assumptions, no skipped steps, no “you should already know this.” If you’ve ever said “I know this is probably simple, but…” then this class was made for you.

We cover the things people use every day and struggle with in private: how email works, how to find a file you saved, how to print something, how to make a password you’ll actually remember, and how to know when a popup or a message is trying to scam you. We also cover how to use your phone comfortably — so you’re in control of it instead of the other way around.

There’s no such thing as a dumb question here. Everything is simple once someone sits down and shows you. That’s exactly what we do.

What You’ll Learn

By the end of this class, you’ll be able to send and receive email, attach a photo, and know what to do when something unexpected pops up on your screen. You’ll understand how to save a file, find it again later, and get something printed without a fight. The internet will make more sense. You’ll learn how to search, what to trust, and how to tell the difference between a real message and someone trying to take advantage of you.

We’ll also cover passwords in a way that’s actually practical, and not the impossible “use 47 random characters” advice, but real strategies for keeping your accounts safe without losing your mind. And we’ll spend time on your phone, walking through the things that trip people up most so you stop feeling like one wrong tap will break everything.

You won’t leave with a certificate. Instead you’ll leave with confidence, and a list of things you can now just do.

  • Set up, send, and receive email — including photos and attachments

  • Use the internet to search, read, and find what you need

  • Save files and find them again without losing them in the computer

  • Print documents and photos from your phone or computer

  • Create and manage passwords you can actually remember

  • Recognize scam emails, fake popups, and phone scams before they get you

  • Understand updates, notifications, and popups — and know which ones matter

  • Use your phone with confidence — no more fear of pressing the wrong thing

Who This Class Is For
