About This Class

This isn’t a “drag and drop and call it a game” class. We teach real programming, real tools, and real skills that carry over into professional game development and software careers.

You’ll write code in C#, build and block out a level from scratch, and work with actual 3D models inside Unity — one of the most widely used game engines in the industry. Whether you want to build your own game, break into the games industry, or just finally learn to code through something you care about, this class gives you a foundation you can actually stand on.

Bring your drive to create. We’ll handle the rest.

What You’ll Learn

By the end of this class, you’ll be writing real C# code — not visual scripting, not drag-and-drop blocks, but actual programming you can read, understand, and build on. You’ll learn how Unity is structured, how to navigate the editor, and how to make things actually happen in a scene with code you wrote yourself.

You’ll build a greybox level from the ground up — the same technique professional designers use to prototype a game space before anything is polished. And you’ll bring it to life with real 3D models, learning how assets move from a file into a working scene. By the time the course ends, you’ll have a working project, a growing understanding of how games are built, and the vocabulary and skills to keep going on your own.

  • Program in C# — real syntax, real logic, real code

  • Understand how Unity is structured and how to navigate the editor

  • Create and attach scripts that make objects respond and behave

  • Build a greybox level using professional blocking techniques

  • Import and work with real 3D models inside a Unity scene

  • Debug your code and understand what’s going wrong when it breaks

  • Leave with a working project and the foundation to keep building

Who This Class Is For

Built for beginners with no coding experience and for hobbyists who’ve tried tutorials but never gotten past the basics. If you want to build games the right way — with real programming — this is where you start.

Prerequisites

No prior experience required. A computer that can run Unity is recommended — we’ll help you get set up at the first session. Bring your curiosity and the willingness to break things and figure out why.
